Why I chose this blog.
I personally suffer anxiety, not only school related but anxiety in general. I have found some things that help me cope with schoolwork and anxiety, so I chose this blog to try and share my coping methods with others and hopefully help them. I hope I can help others in some way. Even if I cannot help with anxiety, I hope that I can be someone that others reach out to. I love listening to other peoples feelings or anything they have to say in general. I am here to help however I can and however you need.
The image that I have attached is a picture that was taken before I participated in the Marine Mud run, although this doesn't have to do with anxiety it does have to do with helping others. By participating in this event, the money I spent was donated to toys for tots, which is a great organization.

I am glad that you are blogging about this issue. It is an important issue that is not talked about enough. I too suffer from anxiety and depression. Right now, I am on medicine as an as needed basis because normally I do not have attacks that often. I want to help people as well and specifically teens. Once I finish my degree, I want to get my counseling masters so I can be a Guidance Counselor. I look forward to seeing more of your pictures and if ever you are having a hard day, you can contact me, I will be here to listen.
ReplyDeleteHello! I chose to comment on your blog because I can definitely relate with trying to manage my anxiety to the best of my ability. I think it's wonderful that you are encouraging others to find their "escape" and what makes them feel at peace. So you participated in a Marine Mud Run which is pretty cool! Maybe to add some different dimensions to your blog, you could talk about different ways that you personally manage your stress. It seems like you already have three (going to the beach, physical activity, and helping others.) You're very inspiring, keep up the good work!

ReplyDeleteI have the same problem of dealing with anxiety sometimes. I can get worried about different things so easily, either small things or big things, and I could not stop myself from getting worried. I think it is one of the reasons that brings me to stress. I’m glad that you bring out this topic and I hope that you will share some ways from your experience to help manage anxiety.
