Finally Friday

Each week I will post on Friday, discussing why I am glad it is finally Friday and all the ridiculous things I had to deal with that week.

So this week, I am glad tomorrow is Friday, BECAUSE, I have been sick ALL week, so I have felt terrible. I work at a daycare and the children don't like to listen so that did not help my situation. And today at work one of the kids peed all over himself and the floor so I had to clean that up and that just made me feel even better (notice the sarcasm). I love children but when I am sick, they really get on my last nerves.
I also had a midterm and a presentation and a paper to write this week so this week has been extremely stressful. So needless to say, TGIF really comes into play for me.

This video is a video of my boyfriends cousin that I was babysitting, which is similar to my work at the daycare. But due to privacy, I cannot post pictures or videos of the children I take care of at work. So this is Lilly, my boyfriends 2 year old cousin. This is the reason I love children, but there is always the other side of this happiness, which is what I dealt with this week with the kids at work.

    I love kids as well. They are so funny, and cute, and say the craziest things. I can only take so much of them. I can not handle when they are loud or crying for very long. It makes me very anxious and then I become mean and start yelling back at them. I would not do well working in a daycare.

    I love this theme, it is so creative and I feel that a lot of people will find these posts entertaining. I will defiantly be checking back every Friday because I love to hear about other people's weeks as a way to share stories.

    It must be that it is midterms because I was stressed as well! At least fall break is around the corner so you can use that time to rest and feel better!

I personally suffer anxiety, not only school related but anxiety in general. I know when you first look at this picture, it just looks like a normal beach picture. But to me, it is not. I took this picture while I was on vacation, I was feeling down so I decided to go to the beach. For me, the beach is my escape when I feel overwhelmed and just not myself. This picture is important because I believe everyone, whether they have anxiety or not, needs to find their escape for when things get tough. Finding something that helps you calm down and just relax is very important when dealing with school work and anxiety overall.
